Actor and Filmmaker
Melbourne-based actor, Eleni Modinos is an experienced Film and TV actor. As well as an emerging director and writer. Her short film Host Destination has screened internationally and in Australia at some of the most well renowned festivals such as St Kilda Film Festival, nominated for Best Short Film in 2022 and Setting Sun Film Festival for Best Emerging Director.
Eleni’s creative goals are to create and be involved in creative projects that portray women in a strong and authentic way.
Eleni recently completed her Bachelor of Film and TV at Swinburne University. She aims to use her film studies to produce more powerful and interesting female character-driven dramas in Australia and worldwide. Eleni works with Bus Stop Films as a Trainer and Assessor, supporting people living with a disability find meaningful employment in the industry and address inclusivity in Australian Film and TV landscape.
Acting is not about being someone different. It’s finding the similarity in what is apparently different, then finding myself in there.
